The 700 meter long two-lane bridge is being built parallel to the old Alopibagh flyover. Which will start from Alopibagh and go till Bairahna intersection. The bridge will be constructed from the parade ground side. GT Jawahar intersection falling in the middle of construction will be available for traffic.

Let us tell you that this bridge will be built at a cost of Rs 55 crore. Apart from this, Rs 40 crore will be spent for the service lane. On the basis of which the total cost of the bridge is reaching around Rs 95 crore. The government has already approved the bridge.

As soon as the budget is released, construction will start within a few days. With the construction of this bridge, people will get relief from the many hours of traffic jam here. Due to the poor design of the old bridge, there is always traffic jam in this area. Therefore a new bridge is being built parallel to it.

According to the information, 65-year-old Shyam Kumari, resident of Pandariba area, had trouble breathing late on Monday night. Her son Vinod took a battery rickshaw to take his mother to SRN Hospital. The rickshaw was near the hospital when a car coming from the opposite direction hit it at the turn near the hospital.

The rickshaw was dragged along with the car for some distance, due to which Shyam Kumari, her son Vinod and rickshaw driver Mukim were injured.

All three were taken to the hospital where Shyam Kumari died.
