On the orders of SP Satpal Antil, a case was registered against an unknown person for giving threats. Two suspects were also caught, but due to fear of danger, the groom’s party decided not to take the marriage procession i.e. not to have the wedding. The police is reading the letter seriously. The letter through which the threat of shooting with a sniper gun has been received if the wedding procession is taken, seems to be a page taken out of a spiral note pad. A threat has been written in it in a cursive letter. To clarify the name of the gun, it is also written in English. The sender has written his name Durlabh Kashyap in bold letters in red ink.

On this, the bride and groom’s side demanded security from the SP. After this, police were deployed at the houses of both the parties. The police, even in plain clothes, were keeping an eye from a distance. Not only this, auspicious songs were sung and other pre-wedding rituals were also performed on Sunday night, but in the morning, the bamboo used as a talisman of the wedding was broken by the miscreants.

UP ADG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar and five other policemen have been awarded the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Gallantry for their encounter with dreaded gangster Rohit Sandu and his associate in Muzaffarnagar on the morning of July 16 last year. Kumar was then ADG Meerut Zone and he personally led the operation.

Other policemen honored are Abhishek Yadav, Muzaffarnagar SSP; Satpal Antil, SP City; Sub-inspectors Pravesh Kumar and Ajay Kumar; And constable Vinit Kumar Kapasia.
