Magh Mela SP Dr Rajiv Narayan Mishra said that all the women constables deployed in Magh Mela will be given training regarding security arrangements. After that their duty will be imposed. For the convenience of women bathing in Magh Mela, a women’s help desk will be set up in every police station, through which women will be able to directly contact the help desk and share their complaints with the women helper.

Dr. Rajiv said that a special team of women police has been formed who will keep a close watch on the ghats in plain clothes. Any person committing any kind of misbehavior with women pilgrims will be immediately caught and strict action will be taken against him. A woman constable in plain clothes will also be deployed in every changing room of Sangam Nose. Along with this, there will be a ban on photography and videography at the bathing ghats.

Preparations for Mahakumbh 2025

Preparations for Mahakumbh 2025 to be held on Triveni banks have started gaining momentum. The tourism department, which was lagging behind in preparations, has also started gaining momentum. On Tuesday, the Tourism Department issued an e-tender for the tent city to be set up in Mahakumbh 2025.

Apart from this, preparations have been started by the Tourism Department to speed up the tender process for other works to be done in connection with Maha Kumbh. The work of beautification etc. of various temples of the city is to be done by the Tourism Department. The time for completing which has been fixed till October 2024.

The transactions in the bank accounts of Ashraf’s wife Zainab are being investigated. The names of some white-collared people in Zainab’s extortion gang are also coming to light, who are not in the police records nor are cases registered against them.

However, investigation of call records and CCTV footage etc. reveals that he had relations with Zainab and her family. For this reason, the police is examining the list of people who met Ashraf in jail. The list of those who will meet him is ready. Soon the police will interrogate everyone and find out the reason for meeting Ashraf.

After interrogation, a lot will become clear about the recovery gang. A police officer investigating said that Zainab knows the most about the extortion gang. The truth will come out after his arrest.
