Lover killed for pressurizing marriage in Pratapgarh, woman was murdered, poison was mixed in food
The accused( lover killed), arrested by the police, told that we both started liking each other, I took Pooja away from her house and brought her with me to village Tade. After a few days, Pooja started pressurizing me to marry me, due to which there used to be frequent quarrels between us. Being fed up with this, on March 14, I gave Pooja poison, due to which she died in the same night. After filling the body in a sack on the back of his motorcycle, he was thrown near the tower located in Bhawaniganj.

Eight months ago, Pooja left her father’s house and started living with Raju in Tanda village of Maheshganj police station area to construct Panchayat building. Seeing his pressure, he made a plan to get her out of the way and poisoned her with food. This led to the death of Pooja. After his death, he ran away by throwing Pooja’s body in a sack and throwing it in a mustard field. He was going to Tanda village to work again on the pressure of the contractor when he was caught. The police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Pooja’s father Rammilan Verma and sent him to jail.
