Noida News: Masked thieves stole cash worth lakhs from the convent school, incident captured in CCTV.
Noida News: In Noida, thieves entered a school and committed theft. During the night the principal escaped with cash worth lakhs kept inside the office.
Noida News: Thieves stole Rs 275,000 from the office of a convent school in Chhalera village of Sector-39 police station area of Noida city, UP. This cash was kept in the office for the school’s annual function and teachers’ salaries. At the same time, five outdoor units were stolen from an institute in Dadri Kotwali area.
Pravesh Sharma, Principal of Shailja Convent School located in Chhalera village of Noida, said that when he reached the school in the morning, he found the office gate open. When he reached his office in the school, he found the lock of his table drawer broken. Rs 275,000 kept in the drawer were missing.
Pravesh Sharma told that this money was kept for the school’s annual function and teachers’ salaries. After this, when he saw the footage of the CCTV camera installed in the school, he came to know that in the morning, two youths broke into his office door and stole the cash kept in the table drawer. During this theft incident, the thieves did not switch on the lights in the room and only used the flash light of the mobile phone. Principal Pravesh Sharma has filed a case against unknown thieves and also provided CCTV footage.
Apart from this, thieves stole five such outdoor units installed in the Government Industrial Training Institute located near Kot bridge of Dadri police station in Greater Noida. The thieves committed this incident on the night of 26th November. In this regard, the institute’s instructor Sumit Kumar has filed a case against unknown thieves.
