Prayagraj Municipal Corporation has taken a powerful step and ensured that strict action will be taken against those who litter the streets of the city due to pet dogs. If anyone takes their pet dog on the road, then take care of it and the Municipal Corporation has prepared a new proposal in view of the increasing number of pet dogs and the mess they create in the roads and parks. According to this proposal, the process of collecting fines will be started expeditiously.

Municipal Corporation and Animal Husbandry Department are trying to get it approved through the House and it is expected that it can be passed in the financial year and can be implemented immediately. The fine should be Rs 10 or 20. Not Rs 500, but will have to pay a fine of Rs 500 to Rs 1000.

To garner support, the Municipal Corporation has sought assistance from city residents and has decided to set up a control room for them to lodge complaints. A number will also be issued for this, which can be used to make complaints.

It is also being told that this proposal can be approved in the next meeting of the House and soon it can be implemented completely legally. This can give the people of the city an opportunity to enjoy a safe and healthy life along with cleanliness and purity of air.

The process of registration of pet dogs has started before April and during this process, only 518 dogs out of more than 20 thousand pet dogs have been registered in the city. It is clear that people are not well able to support this new step.
