Demonstration of women in Prayagraj over hijab controversy
Prayagraj Karnataka The spark of the Hijab and Niqab controversy has reached Uttar Pradesh. Assembly elections are about to be held in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, just before the election, the hijab dispute has become a political and social issue. The timing of this dispute is being considered very important from the political point of view. Muslim women in numbers took to the road and registered their protest.
The protesters said that they would not tolerate any kind of attack on their identity and faith. These women alleged that BJP is fanning such issues to divide. The protesting women say that we have full faith in the Supreme Court. Whatever the court decides, it will take full care that we are Indians. We are citizens here. Don’t discriminate against us.
A government like BJP has come and done the work of dividing us. But, we Hindu-Muslim are one. This is our silent protest. We want to take our point to the top. We do not want to disturb the administration. But, if we are not listened to, then we will move out of the road and carry forward this fight till Parliament.
