To connect Ayodhya with the entire country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off several trains from Ayodhya itself. This also includes two trains connecting Delhi and Ayodhya. One is Amrit Bharat Express and one is Vande Bharat Express.

Vande Bharat train will reach Ayodhya from Delhi via Kanpur, Lucknow. At the same time, Amrit Bharat Express connecting Delhi to Ayodhya will go from Delhi to Darbhanga via Gorakhpur. Amrit Bharat Train is the new train of Indian Railways, which will work on the technology of Vande Bharat only. This will be a train which will have only general and sleeper coaches.

Amrit Bharat Train The special thing

The special thing about this Amrit Bharat train is that in comparison to the existing sleeper trains, neither the speed of this train will increase nor the distance of the stations is decreasing, yet the train will reach the destination quickly. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given information regarding the country’s first such special train. At present, two types of trains are operating in Indian Railways.

The first one in which engine is used, all mail and express trains including Shatabdi, Rajdhani come in this category. The second train set is Vande Bharat and EMU trains.

Indian Railways has ‘introduced’ the new technology Push Pull in the train sets. The name of this train has been given as Amrit Bharat. The special thing in this is that the train is being run for common people and workers, in which there will be sleeper and general classes. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that push pull technology is being used for the first time in the country.

The motor is installed after the two coaches

In other train sets including Vande Bharat, the motor is installed after the two coaches, but this one has two engines at the front and rear. This can be considered as a modified version of Vande Bharat. Also, semi-permanent coupling has been installed to connect two coaches. The biggest advantage of two engines will be more pickup of the train. Also, when the train slows down, it will pick up speed again in a short time.

The Railway Minister said that the speed of the train does not matter as much as its pickup does. The train slows down at curves, intersections and signals on the way and it takes time to regain speed. But Amrit Bharat train can pick up speed again in less time. In this way it will reach the destination sooner than other sleeper trains.

That’s why Amrit Bharat train is special

Like Vande Bharat, push-pull trains will also have powerful engines on both sides. The front engine will pull the train, the rear engine will push.

With both engines operating, the speed of the train will increase. The train will also pick up speed at the same speed at which it stops at the stations. The speed of the train will be 130 km per hour.

Even though Amrit Bharat train will have two engines like Vande Bharat, its feature will be different, which will provide additional special facilities to the passengers.

The newly designed coaches will not only make the journey safe but the passengers will also not get shocks. The train will have only sleeper and general coaches. A total of 22 coaches including 12 sleeper, 8 general, one each parcel van and brake van (guard van) will be installed in a train rake.

There will be no power car in Amrit Bharat train. Power will be supplied to the coaches from both the engines only. This will also protect the environment. Reversal of the engine in the station yard and on the way will provide relief from changing direction.

If a passenger wants to travel in Amrit Bharat train, then for this he will have to take the ticket by taking the name of the train. This has been done because while there is a difference in fares between trains, Amrit Bharat may also be written on the ticket.
