Students UGC NET Result 2021: UGC NET result declared, here is the direct link
UGC NET 2021 Result Released. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycle results on 19 February 2021. The candidates who appeared in this exam can now check their result (UGC NET 2021 Result) by visiting the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
To check the result, candidates will need their application number and date of birth or password.
The UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 examinations was conducted in different phases on 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 November and 01, 03, 04 and 05 December 2021. However, in the meantime, some exams of UGC NET 2021 were also held on 04 and 05 January 2022 due to Kovid-19 case and cyclone Jawad. The direct link to check the result is given below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link ‘UGC NET 2021 result’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Now type your application number and date of birth or password.
Step 4: Click on ‘Sign In’.
Step 5: UGC NET 2021 Result will open on the screen.
Step 6: Download it and take a print out for fire and keep it with you.
Cut Off Marks for Result of UGC NET 2021
General category candidates should have 40 marks out of 100 for Paper-I. Whereas for the reserved category EWS or SC or ST or OBC or PWD or Transgender candidates, the cut off marks are 35. Whereas for Paper 2 General Category – 70-75 Marks out of 200, OBC or EWS – 65-70 Marks, SC – 60-65 Marks and ST Category Candidates have to score 55-60 Marks. UGC NET Result 2021: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 exam result. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their result on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The cut-off marks for Paper 1 and 2 is 40 percent of the aggregate marks for general category candidates and 35 percent of the aggregate marks for EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgender candidates. Only 6% of the total candidates who will appear in both the papers of NET will be declared qualified.
The UGC NET exam was conducted by NTA across the country in three phases. The first phase was conducted from 20 November 2021 to 5 December 2021. The second phase took place from 23 December to 27 December 2021 and the third phase from 4 to 5 January 2022.
Let’s know the update related to the result
Out of 10,34,872 candidates who applied for the exam, 7,93,813 appeared for UGC NET. Out of these, 60147 candidates were eligible for Assistant Professor, while 5092 cleared the exam for JRF. Those who have passed JRF are also eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
The candidates belonging to the unreserved category will have to score at least 40 per cent marks, while the candidates of the reserved category will have to score a minimum of 35 per cent. Candidates also have to clear each paper separately. In Paper 1, candidates belonging to the unreserved category will have to score 40 out of 100, while the reserved category candidates will have to score 35 out of 100.
In Paper 2, candidates belonging to the unreserved category will have to obtain 70-75 marks out of 200, the minimum marks will be 65 to 70 for OBC and EWS category candidates, 60 to 65 for SC and 55 to 60 for ST .
The results of UGC NET will be declared through online mode only on the official website. Hence, a candidate should not rely on unreliable websites for their exam scores. Also, NTA will not issue any scorecard through offline or in-person mode.
UGC had merged the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles and conducted the exam last year. Around 12.67 lakh candidates had registered for the examination held in 239 cities across 837 examination centres. The exam was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 81 subjects.
