Congress has once again expressed confidence in Anugrah Narayan Singh for the 2022 assembly elections.

His name was announced on Monday, almost seven months before the assembly elections. Congress’s national in-charge secretary Baji Rao Khade had come here to announce his name.

He announced his name in a meeting of the office bearers of City North at Shankar Lal Memorial Hall, located near Anglo Bengali Inter College. The former MLA has contested the elections eight times so far.

The Central Committee and the State Committee are looking for qualified people, who can put the party in a strong position in the upcoming assembly elections and win their seats and capture the party in power in 2022.

He also discussed the upcoming strategies of the party. During this, he targeted the central government. Said that if there is no change in the country then the people in power will change the constitution. He talked about the neglect of the farmers. Said that ignoring the farmers would be heavy for the government.
