Oppo on Friday introduced the Oppo A59 5G smartphone in India. Earlier this week, the Chinese manufacturer had teased the launch of the phone on microblogging platform X. Billed as an affordable 5G handset, the A59 5G is the successor to the Oppo A58 5G, which was launched in India in November last year. Oppo’s latest smartphone has a 90Hz refresh rate display, which supports a peak brightness of 720 nits. A 5,000mAh battery is packed in its slim body design.

Oppo A59 5G: Price and availability

The company has introduced it in two memory variants. Its base model 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999. At the same time, the price of the bigger variant of the phone, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, is Rs 16,999. Silk Gold and Star Black color options will be available in this Oppo mobile.

Buyers will be able to purchase the phone from December 25, 2023, from e-commerce websites, Oppo’s official website and offline retail stores. Oppo is offering New Year offers on phones. Processor: The smartphone has been launched with Color OS based on Android 13, for processing which MediaTek Dimension 6020 chipset built on 7 nanometer fabrications has been provided. This octacore processor can run at a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz. For graphics, it has Mali-G57 GPU.

RAM + Storage: Oppo A59 5G smartphone supports 4GB and 6GB RAM. It also has 6GB RAM extension technology, which gives the mobile the power of 12GB RAM. This smartphone supports 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with the help of SD card.

Camera: For photography, dual rear camera setup has been provided in Oppo A59 5G. Its rear panel has a 13 megapixel (MP) primary sensor with LED flash and f.2.2 aperture and a 2MP Boca lens with af/2.4 aperture. At the same time, an 8MP front camera is available for selfie and video calling.
